 Tamara McKenney, Co-founder  Tamara wanted to create a community around good beer and simple, well-made food. Her journey began almost three years ago. It took 12 months to find a space with the right "feel" for her community. This beautiful space located in the Pontiac Mills and nestled along the Pawtuxet River had been abandoned decades ago and needed a complete restoration.  Kris Waugh,  Co-Founder  Kris   came to brewing via a somewhat indirect route. She worked in retail for a few years, co-owned a recruiting company and owned a boatyard. None of these jobs tapped into her creative interests, that fact and her passion for baking led her to pursue a new career as a brewer. Kris would like you all to know that she loves cats.

Kris Waugh, Co-Founder

 Justin Tisdale, Head Brewer  Starting as a home brewer in Upstate New York, Justin Tisdale began exploring the brewing world and learning about the intricacies of various beer styles. After 8 years of home brewing, while working a career in the music industry, Justin decided to make the leap to commercial brewing. With his extensive working experience within the Rhode Island brewing community, and degrees from the Siebel Institute and the American Brewers Guild, Justin is excited to assume the role of head brewer.

 Marc Alexander, Chef  Mark has been too busy creating, and testing recipes and riding his bike to give us an official bio. We’re hoping this blurb motivates him. BTW, the food is fantastic and he has hired a great kitchen team.

 Jamie Walsh, Taproom Manager  Jamie is originally from upstate NY where she got her introduction to craft beer working at a local brew pub. She ignited her passion for craft beer once she moved to RI. Working as a bartender and eventually curating the vast beer selection at Doherty’s Ale House motivated her to begin studying for the Cicerone program. She is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server and working towards becoming a Certified Cicerone.
